The successful candidate will be responsible for the complete fabrication and assembly of cabinetry from start to finish, ensuring all work aligns precisely with the provided drawings and specifications.
Requirements:
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, and other wood working equipment.
- Ability to skillfully cur, assemble and finish cabinetry.
- Prior CNC operation experience is an asset.
- Strong attention to detail and understanding of construction techniques and processes.
- Creative and design forward mindset.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- On site finish carpentry skills an asset. (i.e. floating shelves, closet shelves, hanging doors, base, case, customer millwork pieces, etc.)
- Team player with strong customer service and collaboration skills.
- Proficiency in the English language, both written and verbal.
- Frequent lifting and carrying up to 20 pounds. Occasional lifting and carrying up to 50+ pounds.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble, finish and install cabinetry using various tools and materials.
- Measure spaces, and provide input for cabinetry layout and design.
- Operate CNC machine, hand tools, power tools, and other wood working equipment.
- Install cabinetry and hardware, ensuring proper alignment and secure fittings.
- Collaborate with construction team, including design specialist, for development and execution of projects.
- Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment.
- Include any certificates, licenses, memberships, courses, etc. with resume.
