The successful individual will assist our construction team in a variety of projects ranging from industrial to commercial to institutional. They will be willing to work at various locations, have effective interpersonal skills, and be a reliable member of our team. They will be able to work in varying conditions such as outside, at heights, in dusty spaces, and in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements:
- Capability to complete physically demanding tasks such as loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials.
- Familiarity with power tools.
- A valid drivers license and willingness to travel.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Must be professional, presentable and deal with clients/the public on a continual basis.
- Able to come prepared with basic hand tools, steel toed boots, and a hard hat.
- Criminal record check is required.
The following credentials would be an asset:
- Workplace hazardous materials information system (WHMIS) certificate.
- Construction safety training systems (CSTS) certificate.
- Fall arrest protection training course.
- Aerial lift and aerial work platform course.
- Personal protective equipment (PPE) training.
- Concrete forming and finishing experience.
- Include any other certificates, licenses, memberships, courses, etc. with resume.
